File extension one information

The file extension .ONE can is used to refer to five file extensions. These are OneNote, docPointer, Visual ReadMe, EdgeCAM Licensing Data, Semone Compressed Archive and Unknown Apple II files. The file extension identifies Microsoft OneNote files. .ONE Note is the application used for free form note taking. It accepts hand written scripts but only in instances where the user has a digitizer. It can store text entered directly or dragged and dropped text from the internet and other sources. In order to create, open or edit .ONE files, Microsoft OneNote is required.
The file extension .ONE also supports audio recordings as it conducts advanced searches across the user’s notes. This makes the location of earlier composed notes much easier. The use of .ONE files ensures that office applications are easily utilized. When used with the docPointer application, it is used for the purposes of visualizing links to websites and documents through the use of graphical map pages. Users can then navigate through these pages by use of a docPointer browser, in the same way they would HTML pages. The docPointer application is also used for authoring purposes.
